College Board online SAT course FREE: 69$ value
Courtesy my deal-trawling over at SlickDeals.net I’ve turned this up for anyone reading. The College Board offers an online SAT course which normally costs 69$ dollars, a terrible value, I’d say.
This is College Board’s OFFICIAL SAT Online course. Which includes…
* Interactive instruction organized into 18 lessons
* Personalized score reports
* 6 official practice tests and hundreds of practice questions
* Automated essay scoring
plus some other stuff I’d hope / assume. If you go here,
https://satonlinecourse.collegeboard…choolLogin.jsp
and then make a new account using one of these codes, you get the online course for free. Worth the five minutes to register, maybe? I might try it out and review it later to see what I think of it. Intended apparently for Georgia residents only? it works everywhere. Slightly questionable utility, but some might find it helpful.
The codes:
110040, 110058, 113268, 112094, 112230, 111960, 110010, 110040, 110897, 110058, 110073, 110065, 110277, 112365, 110277, 110095, 110335, 112094, 110794, 111825, 110340, 110280, 110550, 112745, 110603, 110615, 110823, 111228, 112623, 110604, 112245, 112245, 112920, 110650, 110695, 110698, 111043, 110825, 111100, 111265, 110970, 110044, 112040
So:
- Click the above link to go to the SAT online course site
- Input one of the above codes
- Register a new account, or you could use your current one… though paranoia would have you register a new one.
- Sign up for whichever courses you like.
- Ta da!
Enjoy…
Update: folks I tested this out on Tuesday August 8th and it was still quite alive, so it’s still working. I will be sampling the College Board’s online wares in the near future and will report back to you on it all…
Update: It looks like, as of 11/1/07, it no longer works. Sorry all!

Thanks SO much
Does this still work?
wow, i could of used this last august when I paid for all those SAT Tutoring Sessions….
Works.
Can they catch you while doing it?
Catch you while doing what?
Catch us while using the above illegaly. I didnt make a new account just integerated into my current one.
I don’t think it falls into the lawbreaking category, but maybe the unintended-use ones. Maybe it violates their ToS, I don’t know–but I don’t think the law. I would make it on a new account just in case they decided they didn’t like random people using the codes, but obviously it’s a year later and we haven’t heard of any issues. Who knows.
So how do we delete a subscription if we already integrated using our old account,so i could make a new one?
Ah, no idea. But again, this has been up here since last year, and no one has reported any issues, so I wouldn’t panic.
Bookmarking this for my sister. Thanks for the tip.
Hi.. I found your blog, and I’m not your usual reader. I am an adult, but young enough to still remember college and whatnot.
I think you should really reconsider your stance on what you are posting here. I know that it is easy and natural to hate the collegeboard — it is like hating the IRS — but taking something without paying for it is stealing. Take a look here http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070719/ap_on_fe_st/generous_slot_machine and http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070728/D8QLG4OO0.html for recent stories on people possibly be prosecuted for simply ‘taking advantage’ of something broken.
Moreover, this just doesn’t reflect well on you. You are a Yale student? This isn’t ethical. What if it got back to your school somehow? What does this say about you — that you have no problem using loopholes to get revenge on an entity? Do you use old school exams in the same way, even if the professor has made a demonstrable effort to keep them locked up?
I know it can be fun to “stick it to the man”, so to speak, but by doing it in a forum where there is a record, someone may use it against you. It’s not ethical for them to invade your privacy, either, but once they know, they know and cannot forget. That’s not even mentioning the fact that you are enabling people to steal. Argue with that point if you will, but please consider the public image part.
re: someoneolder- I don’t know what the considerations for any liabilities would be on this. I don’t endorse it and I never myself used it. I am not encouraging people to sign up for this or any college board things as ‘revenge’ against some perceived slight… it is publicly available information that I’m sharing with my readers who seem to have found it useful over the last year. No one has demonstrated that it is illegal or ’stealing’ to any extent. Can you produce evidence to that effect?
Hey
i was wondering does this still work please reply soon, my test is on march!!

Hola, me interesa aprender mas sobre la ejecucion de prubas de admision como el collage board,si vivo en mexico como puedo hacer los pagos???’???
Hola – I don’t speak any spanish, sadly, but could make out what you were saying. I don’t know how to help if the college board site is not working properly for you – can you get other application info okay? I presume you are thinking for later class years, so there is time to work it all out. I don’t think that the free offer still works anymore, but try it and let me know.
hey I’m at the last 3 weeks of my 11th grade year and have still not had a chance to sign up for the SAT and saw the sit but, also saw that the codes no longer work.
I know I have to grab a quick chance in getting any info i can on the test.
Was hoping you could help me out? Will i be able to grab a code from my High School or will have have to go during the summer or what not?
reply back to me will not be sure if ill return to this sit so use my e-mail address to reply if you would.
