This is a follow up to a popular post I made few days ago, “ هذا هو متابعة لشعبية وظيفة ادليت به قبل بضعة ايام ، " Spend a Week inside my mailbox! قضاء اسبوع داخل صندوق بريدي! ” which offered readers the chance to see everything I got in the mail over the course of a week. "الذي كان قد تقدم للقراء فرصة لترى كل شيء صعودي في البريد على مدار الاسبوع. There have been some budget cuts, and in this installment we can only offer one day of mail. كانت هناك بعض التخفيضات في الميزانيه ، وعمليات التقسيط في هذا العرض لا يسعنا الا يوم واحد للبريد. This is all the mail I got on Wednesday, August 30th. هذا هو كل البريد صعودي يوم الاربعاء ، أغسطس 30th. University of Pittsburgh sent me and my parents letters along with a pamphlet. جامعة بيتسبرغ ارسلني والدي رسائل الى جانب كراسة. My parents and I both got letters telling us how awesome UPitt was and how much I could do there, specifically talking about the Honors College. والدي وانا على حد سواء حصلوا على رسائل تقول لنا كيف كانت مرعبه upitt وكم استطيع القيام به هناك ، وتحديدا نتحدث عن الشرف كلية. I’ve seen plenty of letters addressed “To the Parents of Sam Jackson” and I guess that speaks to their power to influence children and the hopes of marketers that they themselves can be influenced. رأيت الكثير من الرسائل الموجهة "الى والدي سام جاكسون" واظن ان يتحدث الى سلطتهم للتأثير على الاطفال وآمال المسوقين أنفسهم أنهم يمكن أن يتأثرا. Perhas not influenced–just informed . Perhas لا تتأثر - ابلغت للتو. I know they didn’t know much about UPitt before I shared all that these letters had taught me. وانا اعلم انهم لا يعرفون الكثير عن upitt قبل تشاطرت جميع ان هذه الرسائل قد علمني. Then there was a “Fall Saturdays at Pitt” visitation pamphlet which had a nice picture of the Cathedral of Learning on it. ثم كان هناك "فال ايام السبت في بيت" كتيب الزيارة التي كان نيس صورة كاتدراءيه التعلم عليه. I think the Cathedral of Learning is quite cool. اعتقد كاتدراءيه التعلم هو بارد جدا. Sadly I don’t imagine having the time any saturday this fall to get out to Pittsburg, and even had UPitt been on my list months ago (it was not, sorry) I wouldn’t have had the chance to visit it in July (see: CMU, old post). للاسف انا لا اتصور لها اي وقت السبت في خريف هذا العام الى الخروج الى Pittsburg ، وحتى upitt قد تم على قائمتي منذ شهور (لم يكن ، عذرا) انا لن لقد اتيحت الفرصة لزيارته في تموز / يوليه) انظر : cmu ، القديم وظيفة).

Georgetown College sent me another pamphlet of something. جورجتاون كلية ارسل لي كتيب من شيء آخر. They want me to come visit them. انهم يريدون مني ان تأتي زيارتهما. Visiting Georgetown College is, I’m afraid, not a good enough reason for me to go to Kentucky, although they are near Lexington, KY which I always am glad to say hosts the world’s largest pendulum clock in its public library. زيارة جورجتاون كلية ، اخشي ، ليست جيدة بما فيه الكفايه بالنسبة لي سبب للذهاب الى كنتاكي ، على الرغم من انها تقع قرب ليكسنغتن ، ولاية كنتاكى الامريكية التي دائما ما كنت اشعر بالسرور لأقول تستضيف الاكبر في العالم بندول ساعة في المكتبه العامة. That spectacle aside, I will not be visiting. ان المنظر جانبا ، لن اكون زائرة. I feel quite bad about Georgetown College, actually, that they’re sending me these things. أشعر تماما سيئة عن كلية جورجتاون ، في الواقع ، انهم نرسل لك مني هذه الاشياء. You see, back in July when I was looking for the visiting hours of Georgetown University… all these webforms look more or less the same… and that’s why Cornell College in Iowa once called my house. كنت أنظر ، في تموز / يوليه الى الوراء عندما كنت اتطلع لساعات الزيارة للجامعة جورجتاون… جميع هذه webforms اكثر او اقل نفسه… وهذا هو السبب في كلية كورنيل في ولاية ايوا متى دعت بيتي. George Mason University sent me a very cute little envelope with lovely gold embossing on it but inside there was one little page asking me to go online to express interest so they could send me more stuff. جامعة جورج ميسون ارسل لي جدا لطيف قليلا مع مظروف رائع النقش على الذهب ولكن كان هناك احد داخل قليلا الصفحه التي دعتني الى الاتصال بإنترنت لتعرب عن اهتمامها بحيث يمكنهم ان يرسل لي أكثر الأشياء. I felt bad about this one, too, because they’re contacting me so late in the game. شعرت سيئ عن هذه واحدة ، ايضا ، لانهم مسرورون الاتصال بي حتى في اواخر المباراة. George Mason, I don’t know anything about you! جورج ميسون ، وانا لا اعرف اي شيء عنك!

Brown University sent me their viewbook! جامعة براون ارسل لي علي viewbook! The first thing I saw was, of course, the cover. وأول ما رأيت كان ، بطبيعة الحال ، وغطاء. I make note of the cover specifically in comparison to UPenn’s viewbook, received and reviewed so recently. اجعل علما غطاء على وجه التحديد في مقارنة التابع لجامعة بنسلفانيا viewbook ، تلقت ، واستعرضت حتى مؤخرا.
