At the start of February I في بداية شباط / فبراير الاول announced اعلن my desire to organize a scholarship through my site. رغبتي في تنظيم المنح الدراسيه من خلال موقعي. The Idea: A contest to propose the best new ideas for using new media, the internet, and technology to improve the college admissions process and/or higher education marketing in general. الفكره : مسابقة لأفضل اقتراح افكار جديدة لاستخدام وسائط الإعلام الجديدة ، الانترنت ، والتكنولوجيا لتحسين عملية القبول في كلية و / أو التعليم العالي التسويق في العام.

The contest will be sponsored (at least in part) by some of those same agents most want to hear about the ideas for reform and who are looking for innovative solutions. المسابقة ستكون برعايه (جزئيا على الأقل) من قبل بعض وكلاء معظم تلك نفسه نريد ان نسمع عن افكار للاصلاح والذين يبحثون عن حلول مبتكرة. They’ll have direct exposure to the ideas so that they could be better implemented! انها ستسنح التعرض المباشر للافكار بحيث يمكن تنفيذها على نحو أفضل! After a winner (winners? still fundraising) is chosen, their proposal / essay and other top ideas will be put online for everyone to see and learn, leading to a great dialogue about ways to make things better for both students and the college / marketing forces who want to engage them. بعد الفائز (الفائزين؟ لا يزال جمع التبرعات) هو المختار ، اقتراحهم / مقالة وغيره من كبار الافكار ستوضع على شبكة الانترنت من اجل الجميع لرؤية ومعرفة ، ويؤدي الى حوار كبير حول سبل لجعل الامور افضل بالنسبة لكل من الطلاب والكليه / التسويق القوات الذين يريدون الدخول اليها.

The Prize: Cash towards college education! الجاءزه : النقدية نحو كلية التربيه! I have been working hard over the last month not just with midterms but also trying to drum up support for this scholarship idea. لقد عملت بجد على مدى الشهر الماضي وليس فقط مع اختبارات منتصف الفترة ولكن ايضا محاولة لحشد التأييد لهذه الفكره المنح الدراسيه. My original target was to get ~$500 from a wide range of individuals and organizations in higher education and college admissions fields as well as general sponsorship and donation (technology companies, anyone?). وكان الهدف الاصلي الذي قدمته للحصول على ~ 500 دولار من مجموعة واسعة من الأفراد والمنظمات في مجال التعليم العالي وكلية الاعترافات الميادين العامة وكذلك رعايه وهبه (شركات التكنولوجيا ، أي شخص؟). We’re getting close to that target! نحن الاقتراب الى ذلك الهدف! But wait, things get better… ولكن مهلا ، احصل على أفضل الاشياء…

The other day, I was very happy to learn that I had just won a brand new أخرى اليوم ، وكنت سعيدا جدا لأنني اعرف ان فاز لتوه جديد Toshiba x205 توشيبا x205 laptop in a recent اجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول فى الآونة الاخيرة Gizmodo contest مسابقة gizmodo ! This is a really nice laptop, worth $1400, which would definitely make a great addition to someone’s dorm room. هذه هي جميلة الحجريه ، التي تبلغ قيمتها 1400 دولار ، والذي من شأنه بالتأكيد اسهاما كبيرا بالاضافة الى احدهم عن مسكن الغرفة. 17″ screen, 4 speakers and subwoofer, 250 GB hard drive, nice Nvidia GeForce 8700M graphics card… I know college laptop costs can be pretty significant, so hopefully this could help blunt that for whoever wins. 17 "الشاشه ، 4 المتكلمين وsubwoofer ، 250 غيغابايت في القرص الصلب ، ونيس NVIDIA GeForce 8700m بطاقه رسومات… وأنا أعلم كلية حجريه جميلة يمكن تكاليف كبيرة ، وذلك على أمل أن يساعد ذلك ان لفظة من انتصارات. Hopefully we will be able to find it a happy home soon! نامل ان نكون قادرين على ايجاد انها سعيدة المنزل قريبا! Thanks to Toshiba for indirectly sponsoring it… I had been trying to lobby other laptop manufacturers but so far have been unable to get in touch with the right people. شكرا على توشيبا لأنها غير مباشرة الى مقدمي… انني قد تحاول الضغط على مصنعي اجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول وغيرها ولكن حتى الآن لم نتمكن من الحصول على اتصال مع الاشخاص المناسبين. The Lenovo VP for USA was supposed to come to Yale this past weekend, but had to cancel–my plan had been to corner him and ask. Lenovo لنائب الرئيس فان الولايات المتحدة كان من المفترض ان تأتي ليال في عطلة نهاية الاسبوع الماضي ، ولكنه اضطر الى الغاء خطة بلادي - كان له ركن واسأل. In any event, I am absolutely still interested in looking for more partners, and if I had more to give out we could offer it to more people and really expand things. في أي حال ، أنا لا تزال مهتمة على الاطلاق في البحث عن مزيد من الشركاء ، واذا كان لي اكثر لنعطيه نحن يمكن ان يوفر لها المزيد من الناس والاشياء توسيع حقا.
